East Carolina, Marshall I think we'd clear favorites

Have you even seen ECU this year? They would more than likely beat LSU. Unfortunately thats not a troll either.
You mean the same East Carolina that South Carolina beat? Yeah, so they beat up on UNC; not that unique this season.

Honestly, some people seem to think LSU is bottom tier in the country. Y'all must really be some negative, crusty-arse sky-is-falling mofo's. Remember the 2008 Peach Bowl, when people predicted all sorts of disaster against Georgia Tech? All they had to do was stop a simple, off-tackle offense to crush us, just like today.
It takes a pretty stout team to stop us. Don't think ECU is that stout.

REALLY? E Carolina? TCU? Utah? GTFO. I know we're bad this season but at least a third of those teams are garbage and don't play anyone.

TCU literally just played two Top 5-ranked teams in back to back weeks.

We would beat Utah, Marshall, Arizona State.

Maybe some other teams too.

ETA: But there are some teams ranked behind us (Arkansas, Kentucky) that could beat us too.

There seems to be no objectivity.... Bama struggles with an unranked team (ark misses xtra pt) and ND struggles with NC both stand their ground... Very frustrating

We're still ranked too high.

We won't see the polls any this season,

We may beat uk but that's it..

This is still a work in progress team with a stubborn staff

It's because we just got blown out by an Auburn team that just had their shite pushed in.
Plain and simple.

TCU beat Oklahoma by 4, who was ranked #4 by virtue of beating:
LaTech
Tulsa
Tenn
WVa
And who barely beat Texas last Saturday.

TCU's wins:
Samford
Minn
SMU
Okie

Lost to #5 Baylor, the other team you cite, whose wins are:
SMU
Northwestern St
Buffalo
Iowa st
Texas
TCU

Both teams are ranked by virtue of inflated preseason rankings and playing other inflatedly ranked teams.

It's like the Bizarro SEC: they're mediocre but get ranked high and then get boosts from beating each other.

My problem isn't with us in the rankings. We don't deserve it this year. But the system is set up so that there are a lot of bullshite teams that are ranked high. Teams like Baylor and Boise St (in the past) seem to get this a lot.
