I was taking about your gym buddies. I don't know the guys you're referring too but if they're like some of the power lifters I've encounterd then endurance is not their forte.

The thing is these guys are not power lifters they are in the gym to look good, but still can move 500+. Hell my roommate in college who was 205 could 1RM 500+

Which totally proves our point that you have no concept of what strength and conditioning entails.

As someone who works our regularly my hat's off to your roommate. Squatting two and a half times your body weight is impressive.

Its just an assumption on my part but I suspect these LSU football players are being required to do other aspects of strength and conditioning where they would blow your roommate away.

I like how you grazed over the post in which I blasted you with #'s since Tommy Moffitt was hired here by Nick Saban......
not only did saban want him at bama, butch davis wanted him at Carolina, brown tried to get him at Texas, lane kitffin wanted him at tenn, and mos recently Dooley wanted him at tenn. Oh, moffits assistant is now sabans strength coach at bama.

This is not debatable, he is one of the best in the business period.

When you couple Moffitt with a disciplinarian such as Saban that works perfectly. However with Miles and his hands off attitude, Moffitt has become complacent and it is showing in our strength and conditioning.

Those of you familiar with the world of gulf coast power lifters will know the name Doc Rhodes. Doc's son was and still may be on the strength and conditioning staff at Maryland.

Doc tells me Moffitt is the best in the business.

who cares some some douche at your gym squats? he probably doesnt have an athletic bone in his body

This, this, THIS!

DredsofDOOM you are coming off like a real jackass in this thread.

I love when recreational weight lifters try to critique sports training, completely different goal in mind.

Then he could probably run a marathon faster than most of our football players as well.

He couldn't run for shite he was 6'1'' 205. He was quick, but had no real speed to speak of.

Anybody questioning Moffit is an idiot...But these numbers really aren't that impressive. Specifically the linemen on that list.

Dreds, go find some squat numbers from other college football programs to show that we are falling behind due to Moffit's complacency.
