yeah that was pretty awesome. i agreee that the keeper was off her line pretty bad and misjudged it, but just the fact that she made that is pretty amazing.

it's not so much a matter of bad goalkeeping, it is very rare to have a ball kicked like that so its completely unexpected. and when it does happen the goalies probably almost always in a poor position to judge how the ball is coming and there's very little chance to recover once you commit to trying to get the ball. the likelihood a goalie sees that in a game is very minimal.

99 times out of 100 that free kick gets either collected by the keeper, cleared by a defender, or worst yet, controlled by the defense.
She basically gave the ball away but got lucky.
Any time you have an opportunity to play the ball into the box it's a dangerous ball.....she had the leg to do it so she did. I'll give you the fact that it was a lucky goal and that the keep should have collected it. But it wasn't a bad decision. Especially up a goal.
