I'm pretty sure the Saints O line has allowed the least number of sacks in the nfl and they have an all time great at QB. They also have really good receivers and running backs.

But, you think Lsu should be able to copy that easily?

The Saints make it look easy because they are really good.

It took Payton and Brees 3-4 years to install that offense. It's too advanced for college players.

They were 5th in offense in year one (2006).

If you have the right scheme and a thorough understanding of your personnel it doesn't take multiple years for it to yield results.

OP was being funny. Ya'll took him serious. Tigers probably could use Pete Carmichael though, but I suspect it would be tough to dumb down the Saints offense enough for a college team to pick up in an off season.

Our coaches spent a whole half day down there. It should be identical.
Complete and total contrast between LSU and the Saints Offense. Only 70 miles divided and the Saints have one of the best Offenses in the history of the NFL, meanwhile LSU has one of the worst in College football.

Seems like they (LSU) could learn a little something in the off-season from Brees and company. So close, but so far.

I strongly suggest LSU does what the Saints did a few years ago and renovate the Offensive Line for immediate results.

Step 1. They got Max Unger in the Jimmy Graham trade with the Seahawks. Step 2. They drafted Andrus Peat in the first round. Step 3. They drafted Ryan Ramczyk (Wisconsin ) in the first round the following year. Step 4. They added Terron Armstead and a few competent back-ups for depth. The Offense has been off the charts ever since.

LSU will have to follow the same philosophy or they'll never step out of the Dark Ages Offensively and will never seriously challenge the Red Devils in the SEC West. If they keep on doing the SOS, they'll continue to get the SOS results. More "Meds" to come if there is no OL philosophy reconfiguration...……...

Put in a hard week of practice and we'll have it down.

Maybe we can recruit Drew breeze to run it also. I mean he doesn't have anything to do on Saturdays and I think he still has a year of eligibility left.

LSU simply needs to have an O-line like the Saints

Payton has also been one of the best at finding great offensive linemen. Brees could not do shite without the benefit of some of the best O linemen to play the game in the last 25 years or so.
