LSU Siblings need help after mother died

Sorry if already posted, but these kids need help.
GoFundMe
Being their sole parental figure, the loss of their mother left Eddie and Enjanae without a support system. The siblings are both students at Louisiana State University, and they have been living on campus for the last semester. As of May 18th, both of their leases for on-campus housing will end, which would leave them more or less homeless. Having no means of transportation, living on-campus is extremely important for their access to resources and education. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help raise emergency funding for their living expenses for the upcoming semester and to help pay off student loans taken out in order to finance their education.
Eddie Taylor is 22, a junior, and majors in Sports Administration. He is active in the LSU community, working with an event management internship and being a star member of the LSU Powerlifting team. Enjanae Taylor is 20, a sophomore, and majors in Fashion Merchandising and Journalism at LSU. She is an Alpha Lambda Delta officer, a PR officer of the Fashion Association at LSU, and also works as an Entertainment Reporter at The Reveille.
Both Eddie and Enjanae are very involved with their communities at LSU, and being huge LSU fans, their education was a point of pride for their mother. It is important to Eddie and Enjanae that they can continue their education not only for themselves, but as a tribute to their mom. Any donation can help create financial stability and ease the immense stress that these two young adults are facing far earlier than they should have to.

Tragic that their mother died and hope they can figure everything out, but to me it sounds like it’s time for them to take out some loans and at least get a part time job...plenty of students do it

Im sure that there tapped out on loans and jobs are hard to get now. They may have jobs anyway

It was tough with both my parents, cannot imagine what it would be like without them.
I can spare $20 bucks if it helps these kids get through their college career.

Just contributed. Can’t imagine what it would be like to be in their position.

You can not tap out on loans, I had 160,000$ of them

Seems like both are very active in the LSU community with internships and such. Maybe they just don't have the time to earn enough extra income

They look like great kids. Of course I'll contribute.

A difficult situation for young people to be in. My student daughter had a nice part time job until corona shut that business in March. There are few jobs available, and even when there were it can be hard to find one that fits with an academic schedule. The "just get a job" solution is not available to these two. Housing, meals and tuition run in the thousands these days, and they seem to have been going the frugal route already.
We had a GoFundMe for the Georgia Southern students whose parents died in a car wreck last year that netted over $50K for them. Surely you tightwads can give a little assist to our own Tigers who are in a similar situation.
Good luck to them. May they become outstanding Alumni.
NOTE: Thread should be on O-T Lounge as well.

A simple and affordable term life insurance policy solves this. Take note people. Prepare for the worst and take care of your people.

Biggest takeaway here.
Don't leave your family a burden.
Also, I worked at Rotolo's six days a week when I was in college because my parents did not support me financially. It did not leave any time for internships or volunteering but In life you make hard choices, and I chose to work hard over living poor.
