Rhode puts down the threat,
10-0 going to the bottom of the 6th
Rhode has thrown 71 pitches through 6 innings, 3 hits, 9 K's no BB's

Yes there is a 10 run rule
Posted on 5/28/25 at 10:29 pm to dukeg7213
I looked it up earlier and it said no, but it sounds like it is.

What I read was that it used to not be. New rule starting 2025

Anyone have any insight?
Very confusing… seems like LSUS advances to championship no matter what tomorrow night?
Game 17 is quarters
Game 19 is championship
If after Game 17 three teams remain, the team with the most games played receives a bye to Game 19.
-LSUS 4 games
-Hope 4 games
If there is a tie for games played, the team that won the head-to-head match up in the tournament shall receive a bye to Game 19.
-LSUS won the 1st time. If they lose, what does this rule mean?
If the tie is still not able to be broken, the higher seed shall advance to Game 19
-LSUS is higher seed

They play the game right on so many levels, every inning, every pitch.
Like literally exactly how the game should be played. Really fun to watch.

That lefty that comes from all those angles would give the Tigers fits.
Posted on 5/28/25 at 10:48 pm to Tiger1988
in his 2 years at LSUS, he's thrown 221 innings and only issued 30 walks
pretty insane for a crafty lefty

Hell, it took 5 innings to get to a 2 ball count. That zone was wide at times unlike SEC crew.

Fun to watch a team do all the little things correctly. Put the ball in play with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs, lay down good bunts by anyone in their line up, and throw strikes

I was trying to figure out that bracket earlier. It’s very strange. I’m guessing because there’s 10 teams in the series.
Either way, this team looks hyped up all the time. Very fun to watch. I’ll be watching tomorrow night too.

And a pair of double steals to boot. I said early on that the 5-0 lead in the1st would likely be enough for them to win. They don't make mistakes, but really make their opponents pay for theirs. They put so much pressure on the other teams.

It really stands out.
Plus, they’ve got the most diverse infield I’ve ever seen. They just need an Asian somewhere in the lineup and this team has everything.

That's not a Bye, just an off-day. Unless I'm looking at it wrong. It's just formatted by day. Winners of 1-4, 7-10 play Friday, are off Saturday then play Monday, off Tuesday, play Wednesday. Winners of 5/6 are off Friday, play Saturday, off Monday, play Tuesday and Wednesday If you win out, you play 5 games (6 if necessary) no matter your seed Losers bracket plays on their respective off-days to an extent.
How did this post get two downvotes when it’s 100% accurate?
Just gave you your lone upvote, OP
