Bo Pellini coached in perhaps the easiest division of a Big 5 conference and still had trouble winning anything.

If CLM decides to leave I wouldn't have a problem with Pelini. We haven't won a National Championship since he left. His resume is extremely better than CLM's when he was hired.

So in 1997, right after his 3rd undefeated national championship in 4 years he was forced out because he couldn't beat Stoops, who didn't start at OU until 1999??? Gawd, I love this board.

Nebraska used to be able to recruit from all over the country, esp. New Orleans and Louisiana but those days have long since past. Unlike LSU who benefits from great Louisiana talent and SEC recognition. it would take a Saban-type for Nebraska to compete in recruiting and that’s not likely. For LSU, a bufoon could recruit here and be successful ...

Since we're not gettin rid of Miles, and unless he goes to Michigan, he'll be here for the next two years, keep an eye on Nebraska. Lets see how they do the next two years. I figured they would fire Pelini, and I think they're making a mistake, but Pelini's on and off field demeanor and they audio tapes made it a much easier sell.

so you'd dump miles for the guy Nebraska just fired. and you agreed with the firing. a little bit inconsistent there aren't you bud?

no. pelini's resume isn't close to being up to miles resume.

it seems like some folks, such as you, just want miles gone and you don't give a shite who we hire. that ain't real smart pal.

Pelini's Nebraska record is far better than CLM's Oklahoma State record

Miles isn't going to be fired even though he should. I'm saying that if he leaves for Michigan hire Pelini

I never wanted CLM, and if you have followed LSU football the board didn't either. Skip Bertman begged the board to hire CLM, begged

are you fricking serious....I swear to god the absolute ignorance on this site.....let me get this straight, you would be happy to get a coach who had 7 years to win a conference championship in a weaker conference and couldn't get it done, and almost always got completely embarrassed when playing better teams......wow

I would not trust Alleva to hire a cheerleading coach. Alleva is a buffoon.

Saban never won a B1G championship, and Miles never won a Big 12 Championship. That shouldn't be your argument
