LSU should consider mimicking Saints offense

Saints have a QB that is not a runner, so they use the I formation and under center with a single back allowing running game to both sides of the field.

Makes the running game way less predictable and opens up true play action passing game.

It is just a typical West Coast scheme... Nothing new.

A lot of Kubiaks offense is based on motion and QB recognition. That’s a lot to ask a college QB to do. That said a bit more under center and motion might serve us better in the run game

Saints OL is about better at run blocking than the saints. It’s not the scheme,
It’s simply the attitude and skill

It’s not always just about the scheme. Kubiac is showing to be an outstanding play caller with his sequencing of calls. Having someone like Shaheed to take the top off the defense helps a lot as well. Hopefully when Hilton gets back, we will be able to show some of that.
