avondale, you make a good point. Maybe they're trying to understand why Alabama went to Atlanta instead of us in we were ranked in Human poles higher than Ala. and we just beat them in the SEC tourney and in the regular season we swept them. Head to head we are better on paper and on the field but we get sent across country and they go next door. But I agree I would like to see how we handle going out west. Just hope the home advantage is in the crowds not the umpires calls.

lsu hasnt had to travel to a regional in over 20 years, the ncaa just wants to make the trip as long as possible to make up for it.

I agree +1000. It doesn't matter where you play or who you play, you still have to win. It's the same game played with a bat and ball whether in Baton Rouge or Los Angeles. LSU just won the SEC tournament and it wasn't in Baton Rouge at the "BOX." If this team is good enough to get to Omaha, they will. The way our pitching and hitting is at this time, it will be hard for any team to beat this LSU team in a double elimination format. OMAHA BOUND!!
