I never said they didnt win... I said they didnt set the world on fire. Go look at Lawrence's stats in each game. Like his first 4 or 5 games he was averaging 2 int's a game. And go look at rushing stats in some of those games... Etienne wasnt doing much. This is what I was saying in the OP. And UNC was trash buddy. They barely won that game.

No one said Drew Brees was a bum when his team went 7-9 three straight years. Just like no one says Trent Dilfer is a great QB because the Ravens had an all time defense one year.

But he didn't so we didn't. Clemson's defense kept them in the game while their offense sucked balls. TL didn't have a great game. He did just enough to win.

Not in the context of individual games. No one is going to sit there and pretend that Jordan Jefferson was a stud because he won some big individual games. That’s an idiotic statement if you’re relating it to college QB’s, this isn’t the NFL that we’re talking about

Like another poster said this will be somewhere between the Auburn and Alabama game
We are the best team in college football and are peaking at the absolutely perfect time
This will be like the Florida game. Back and forth and back and forth. A turn over here and there. And build a little breathing room in the fourth quarter.
We have been headache free since Ole Miss but prepare to be at the edge of your seats for a complete game.

You are right.... And Lawrence is good.... because they play high school teams all year long. IF he is the No.1 pick next year it will because of measurables not because of numbers. Everyone has said that he has regressed this year. Stop the run and the offense can not keep up with LSU. So no need to run around and tell everyone to be so worried about this game and this team. Clemson is no different than any other team we have beaten this year. And do not believe everything you are seeing in the media. They have to hype this game hard. They need the clicks and views. That is how they make money.
