The only way television will not pick up LSU games and change the times is if the fans/students revolt against all media that are a part of changing the time.
If we started losing they wouldn't pick up the games. If you were a fan in the 90s, you wouldn't be complaining about time changes. Save 1997, the Hallman/Dinardo days were tough to be a fan.

Its not tail-gating time people are worried about, its the tradition of night games and the atmosphere.

That's what all you newbie kiddies just don't get. Yall just don't "Get It."
We all know some BIG games are going to be moved to 2:30 for a CBS game. We all know that 1 home game this year is going to be moved to 11:30 for that Lincoln Financial BS. We all know and accept/prepare for those games.
But, to move the opening game of the season against a "1-AA" team to 4pm on Aug.30th so it can be televised is a bit much. The OPENING game of the year should be for the fans, NOT the networks/LSUAD or SEC. LSU is going to be on regional or national TV A LOT this year and we don't NEED this game for exposure. We'll have plenty of TV exposure later on. So what if a few out of state fans/alumni can't see the game. The opener should NEVER be moved to daylight for any freaking reason.
It would be poetic justice if the storm comes in and causes a cancellation of the game. That's coming from a militant traditionalist and FANS. (Football At Night Supporter).........
