Is he going to be a grad transfer? Also, every lazy writer will link QBs in the portal to LSU simply because Burrow is leaving.

King makes all the sense in the world for Gus at Auburn. Unlikely with Nix there but he'd be perfect for Gus offense.

There’s little chance that King will return to Houston, as he’s expected to enter the transfer portal in the postseason and garner interest from top programs like LSU, Georgia and Florida State.

This thread is utterly ridiculous cause there won't be any scholarships to offer.

frick this dude. Quit on his team in the middle of the season because they weren’t doing well. Don’t want him anywhere near our program. I don’t see O wanting him unless he’s absolutely positive Brennan can’t get the job done. If this guy come in the Brennan almost assuredly leaves which means we have no backup plan.

Burrow wasn’t the starter and then quit playing because things weren’t going well for the team. Completely different. Not even remotely close.

You honestly want a guy who decides to put himself over his team during the beginning of the season? As much shite as Greedy got on here for not playing in a meaningless bowl, but we’re apparently fine with this? frick that

For the 100th time... King did not quit, the HC asked him to redshirt in order to save him for next season.

I watched the Tulane game/Houston loss and was not impressed.

Only 5-11, looks at his primary, then bolts. Don't want.

Only completed 48% of his passes against Tulane.

Sure, Burrow has spoiled me with his almost 80% cmp rate, but King's 2019 senior year rate of 53% is not acceptable. And this is in a QB-friendly Holgorsen system.

1) LSU CANT TAKE A TRANSFER UNLESS WE SIGN LESS THAN 25 PLAYERS IN OUR CLASS!!!!!! Which will not happen. I don’t get why people can’t understand that.

2) I saw this kid play Tulane earlier this year and he can’t hit the broad side of a barn. Is he a great athlete? Yes. Is he a great QB? Most definitely not.

That is basically Kyler Murray 2.0. Fast as shite release, good enough arm, and feet that are fast as all get out.

MB has waited his turn...... That should mean something. Not so much maybe in a positive light. If he wanted to come to LSU I'm sure Ed O would find a place for him.

People need to remember that he along with other players were asked to sit by the coach. When he is rushing for 100+ a game, and throwing for 300 at whatever school he ends up at, LSU fans will wish we had gotten him.

These are the types of people that don’t understand the landscape of college football today. It’s QB free agency and LSU has now established itself as one of the hottest destinations. You don’t throw that stock out because a good guy on your team waited his turn.

-and this isn’t just about King. I personally don’t think King comes. But it’s just the beginning of many more prospects wanting in. Be ready.

1.) he wasn’t a starter
2.) he had already graduated, hadnt he?

But yeah, I’ll still take King any day
