True..void of any damaging information brought forth by prosecutors...don't see that happening here though

"Both will [have consequences]. Hill and the guy he hit."
Yup. Talk trash, be prepared to take a beatdown. Give a beatdown, especially without clear physical provocation, and be prepared for legal troubles.

You are a clown and literally have no clue what you are talking about.

What difference does it make what you or I think is a sucker punch? You haven't seen the video and neither have I. After reviewing the tape the police and AD thought the appropriate charge was a misdemeanor. That misdemeanor deserves the appropriate punishment, not the overzealous reactions that are taking place in this thread.

Yes, your shitty posts.

LOL, so now the AD has a say what charges are brought? Alleva doin work!

Your thought should be,
quote:
After reviewing the tape the police and DA thought it appropriate to charge Hill and NOT the attacked kid
Period, /thread, all that matters
Spin it how you like, but this is what a judge looks at along with his prior record.....so
quote:
That misdemeanor deserves the appropriate punishment
Exactly, but the punishment for the misdemeanor doesn't end there. It also goes on to the judges assessment of whether or not Hill is living up to the terms of his probation by being in bar fights @ 2am...
Let me ask you a serious question, IF Hill was up for a misdemeanor sex offense today (instead of the fight), would that be enough to revoke his probation he is serving? (in your eyes)

Yes, thanks for catching my type.

That's not all that matters. A felony charge would likely result in jail time, while a misdemeanor likely result in stricter probation.

And Hill has already been in front of the judge and the judge has made no indication that this misdemeanor will result in revoking Hill's probation.

Yes, but that has absolutely nothing to do with this case or how the judge handles Hill.

I can simply tell you that is YOUR opinion. I wasn't in the courtroom when Hill was given probation to hear how the judge spoke to him. The judge may well have been pissed of at the deal and spoke harshly to Hill in one of those "if I ever see you back in my court, you will face the full penalty" etc...I haven't heard this being the case. I speak of it only because I've heard of less "misdemeanors" ending in revocation.
Again, I hope J Hill is on the team and a front runner for the Heisman!

It is more than just my opinion. It is the opinion of several people involved with the case, that know more details than you or I.

And it is just that, an opinion! Don't hang your hat on those is usually a good rule. Only the judge matters and it goes a long way having the victim on board, just sayin

Gettin back to my question a few pages back. Does anyone know if the victim is still pressing charges or is this just a politicians spotlight now?
