I messed around with The prediction machine and this is where we are at.

LSU is going to be in the SEC title game if either of these happen. One constant is Saturday. We need Tenn to lose to UGA. Looks like Nico is out

Paths:
Win out, Tenn Loses to UGA (Nico out), Arkansas beats Texas or Mizzou (Brady Cook out for the year supposedly. It is @Arkansas)

Win out, Tenn loses to UGA and Alabama loses to either Auburn or Oklahoma

Link to Nico being out for UGA and Brady Cook being out for the year?

Arkansas plays at Missouri in three weeks.

OP is making up half his theory.

It'll be interesting. I'd love to see it.

I assume in the first scenario we'd probably play Bama??

We are in if Mizzou loses to SCAR and Arkansas too.

We can also get in if Auburn beats A&M then A&M beats Texas. Would play Bama.

We are rooting for UGA, South Carolina and Arkansas this weekend in that order of importance

Nico being out for UGA
18 hours ago officially was undetermined in concussion protocol. Hanny or Ott, don't remember which one, on their show today said he was out.. but even if not, GA is favored by 10...

Brady Cook being out for the year
Brady Cook status for the remainder of the year is unclear, but their starting center is out for the year..

Arkansas plays at Missouri in three weeks.
whether its 3 weeks or 1 week, doesn't make a difference.

which half? i've heard this scenario from multiple different sources..

1. We'll have our hands full beating Florida and Vanderbilt

2. We have no business in the SECCG

Win out

In reality this should be all that matters.

Likelihood of events happening-- most likely to least likely:

First scenario:

1. Tennessee loses to UGA (I think this happens)
2. Arkansas beats Texas or Mizzou
3. LSU wins out

Second scenario:

1. Tennessee loses to UGA
2. LSU wins out
3. Alabama loses to either Auburn or Oklahoma (very unlikely; those teams simply suck)

None of this shite matters if we face plant against Vanderbilt because DJ Chester can’t block, Nuss can’t stop giving the ball to the other team, and our defensive backs couldn’t tackle someone to save their mother. Honestly, we don’t deserve to go to the playoffs or the SEC championship. And I’m a half glass full kind of guy.

Because we both played South Carolina so them winning or losing doesn’t change anything.

South Carolina also has to beat Missouri in the first path.

That's not true. Alabama played Missouri and LSU did not so we need them to get that loss.

The importance of Arkansas beating Missouri has to do with the fact that these are two teams that LSU or Bama didn’t play both. We are currently tied with Alabama at opp win percentage so having Arkansas (team we played) beat Missouri (team Bama played) puts us over the top percentage wise.

If SC beat Mizzou it helps, but will be nullified if Mizzou beats Arkansas. Therefor, we NEED Arkansas to beat Mizzou
