Oregon St is pretty much hosting. Maybe if they get swept they enter the rest of the pool for discussion, but I don't know even then.

much like the Big West... the Pac 12 doesn't have a tournament so this is a regular 3-game weekend series
also in the P12... UCLA & Oregon are tied at 2-2 in the 8th

I still don’t think NC State winning is that bad. I think they and us already were gonna host before they won

Even if they lost, they were still going to very much be in the discussion. A loss would have been nice though, just to say they lost.

We have to be a lock at this point.
The only thing that could keep us out is if the committee just refused to give 5 hosts to the SEC but considering the competition I don’t see how they can’t give the SEC 5

I try to say "LSU's done enough to be home for a regional"... but I always want 1 more win to secure it and even after that I want just another win
and then I want everyone around LSU in the regional fight to lose

Totally revamped and updated the OP with records, RPI, SOS, and quad wins.
Some of the keys for today:
- It should be helpful if Miami beats UNC today. UNC seems to be behind Miami a bit for a host spot, so Miami advancing and solidifying their resume might be good because it comes as the expense of UNC.
- UCSB losing last night does nothing but help. If they drop the series it could be great.
- WVU is really making a strong case for themselves in the tournament. We have to hope Texas Tech wins and gets another shot, and knocks them off (I'm guessing their semi is single elimination, but I'm not sure). WVU needs to go, because they now have a legit resume.
- NC State is already advancing to the ACC semis, regardless of if they beat FSU or not. So, NC State might not care about this game against FSU, but we need NC State to win.
- Ole Miss needs to go home. We don't want them winning this tournament and possibly stealing LSU's spot.
- Not host teams, but still important to some host team quad wins. FSU is sitting at 53. If they stay out it weakens the ACC host teams quad 1 wins. That's why them losing to NC State is important. We don't want them back in the top 50. UC Irvine is at 47, and is giving UCSB its 3 quad 1 wins. If they can somehow bump out of the top 50 that would be great. Pull against them these next two games.
