Boston College’s win over Louisville probably bumped up UNC’s RPI slightly.

Wouldn’t Louisville have played both of those though?

No it’s like the SEC you don’t play everyone.

No it's not. Keep believing that if you want to though.

Up means down and down means up, or whatever.

BC lost all 3 during the regular season to UNC

BC lost 2 of 3 to Louisville during the regular season

BC has won their pool in the ACC Tournament though... having defeated Clemson 7-5 & Louisville 5-1

ETA: FWIW... UNC plays tonight vs. Virginia and tomorrow vs. Miami

Ok, well coming into a thread with none of that going on wasn't really needed. I appreciate your concern though.

Not sure how to feel about Hogs beating Rebels in terms of our RPI, but it’s Ole Miss losing so I’m down

Hopefully LSU's Hoover magic is enough to overcome the tournament trend so far. The higher seeded team will be 7-0 after the Vandy-Auburn game going into our late night matchup with MSU

Same with aTm. Better for them to lose than keep winning. Our RPI will take hits and boost no matter what with the teams in this tournament. Us winning is most important, but if some of these teams close to us keep dropping it should be better for LSU in the end.

It should hopefully help that MSU isn't throwing one of their studs. We need a good outing for Walker/Hilliard/Hess, and to put up some runs. I would love to see us jump on them early and not let up. I think this game is certainly winnable.

Thats exactly who I just told someone would be pitching tonight. Has this rotation been announced by Mainieri or is this just your assumption too?

Walker is starting. But Hilliard and Hess are our two best available. Just assuming that this is who you see next. Perfect case is that Walker goes 6-7 and we only need Hess to slam the door shut.
