Ithought we could be a 3rd team...did enough..but they were never going to do.it. when shs lost out I knew we had to win it all and getting to finals would leave a slim chance. Maybe next year

Interesting first round games.
MS State vs Samford and OU vs Ap State. If MS State holds their stud out for a second round game against FSU, they will end up in the losers bracket.

No excuses, IMO.
Oregon State swept Oregon this weekend so they are going to be tough...but I don't know much about them other than the fact they are getting the 2010 LSU regional treatment.
Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was UCF in the supers.

If there's one team I know the most about besides LSU baseball, it's absolutely Mississippi State. I've followed nearly every one of their games. Regardless, I'm all for fans knowing a lot about other teams and especially about teams like Samford. In the end, State's pitching staff is fricking ridiculous. Go look at their team pitching statistics and last approx 28 games. They are nasty.

And we're on the easier side of the CWS bracket as far as national seeds go. We have UCLA, North Carolina, and Florida State compared to Florida, South Carolina, Baylor, and Oregon.
Eta: it's a little bit of a toss up but I like our side a little better.

The committee seems to hate us just as much as they love us. They snub us in 06 and 11 and ship us out to LA in 2011, but they give us Southern Miss, UNO, and Texas Southern in 08 and this regional/super regional matchup in 2012.

Only on an iPad & the NCAA bracket is flash only. Can't see the whole bracket. Figured UCF would stay n FL. Are they the 1 seed there & Miami hosting as 2?
