Bama is very good. Arguably top 3 or 5. Don't crown them yet. Not too long ago Jake the Snake was a TO machine and Humphrey has been caught flat footed on more than one passing play. They have weaknesses too.

UGA overrated? Can't disagree. They are mentally delicate. After that one blocked Punt they went into a hole. LSU fans would have called for Peveto to be tarred and feathered if that had happened in a game vs the Gumps. Lambert passed against some poor D's in the first few weeks. Average QB at best. Dominate between the tackles and X out Chubb and UGA is beat.

BeeFense 5 - just put 80% out there as in Miles approximate winning percentage and that is all they need to see. You have to be simple with those with limited cranial capacity:).

I know from this thread who to ignore going forward. OMG :). But this place is not the worst. That POS rag tag site affiliate with the Rivals network is definitely the best place for Negatigers to gather together. Especially when the powers that be over there promote their agenda and actively endorse it:).

lol. Maybe but you do realize bama lost just a few weeks ago. They show a tendency to give up big plays and are vulnerable.

Yes, but they also had 4-5 turnovers which was not normal.

Bama ahead of Ole Miss. Excellent work, Coaches (minions in athletic department doing the rankings)

Seems reasonable to me, Ole Miss got dismantled by UF and beat Alabama with the luck of about 5 turnovers.

In a rematch Bama would be heavily favored IMHO.

Well outside of one fluke all of those INTs were the result of incompetence. The undoubtedly number one team in the land is not suppose to hand the opposition multiple TOs and lose to a program they have dominated for over a century in their own house. You are who you are. A team who loses to a team that gets waxed by 28 points just two weeks later is not an the best team in the land. Arguably top 3 or 5. But not indisputably the best. And recruiting stars is not all of it. On paper they may have the best talent. But there is talent and then there is taking the talent and molding it. They have done a great job of that (with a little help in 2011 from the powers that be and very lucky draw vs ND in 2012) over past few years. But they have weaknesses that LSU and other teams can exploit.

TOs are not always caused by bad luck. A substandard performance and bad decisions by Coker had something to do with it. TOs do have some bad luck involved. See fluke reception. However, putting the ball on the ground can be excellent striping and anticipation by the opposing D and it can be carelessness too. It goes both ways. Bottom line they turned the ball over five times at their house and deserved to lose. In a rematch I can see Bama winning. But then again two weeks ago was suppose to be the rematch advantage for Bama. And OM promptly went out and beat Bama back to back for the first time in their history.

Right, so Alabama has 5 turnovers and loses, and it's uncharacteristic. They're still good. If LSU were to have 5 turnovers and lose, it would be characteristic and we would suck.

Ohio State has questions at quarterback, they'll figure it out. We have questions at quarterback, we suck.

I get it. Makes sense.

Alabama is far from the best team. They just beat the crap out of a vastly overrated Georgia team. Ole Miss moved the ball at will against Bama. People wanna say TO's did Bama in against Ole Miss, but Ole Miss' offense scored regularly on them before some of those turnovers. That same Ole Miss offense couldn't do shite against Florida yesterday though. So, either Bama had an off day on defense against Ole Miss or Florida's defense is better??

I watched that Bama-Ole Miss game and was more impressed by Bama. Too many freakish lucky plays went Ole Miss's way, and Bama's fight back was relentless.

Agree. We better be all tuned up by the UF game, or it won't be pretty. Hope it will be a night game in Death Valley. Don't like the noon game time next week, hopefully our players will be awake. SC is probably better a team than 'cause.

#LSU hasn't been this high in the @USATODAYsports / coaches poll since Oct. 28, 2012. Tigers were also No. 5 that week before a loss.
