I'll put it another way, if losing a player who was averaging 11 points and 6 rebounds in 8 games against a modest OOC schedule last year was a HUGE loss, which the way I perceive it translates to a season crushing loss... then the foundation for the program was not where it needed to be in year 3....IMHO.

Those are two different points of contention.

Reed was competent & trusting and no, they do not have the depth to replace him,

You’re correct, we have a 50 game sample size with Reed vs P5 opponents and his averages are 6.1ppg, 3.7rebs on 46% shooting. The mcmen and their new fanboy want you to think he’s a lottery pick but he’s just a replaceable bench guy. He’s being used as an excuse because the roster wasn’t constructed well and they won’t put that on McMahon.

So he’s not your first guest? I know it won’t be Waters or Naz or Cam or Days or Watford because you hated those players. I thought for sure it would be Seneca, the GOAT in your opinion.

I know, someone from the McMahon era. Who’s his most productive player?…. K.J. Williams, you can have him on your make believe show.. but I forgot, you hated him too.

Semantics Lester - you think it was a huge and understated loss. I think it was stated ad nauseum and that it was a somewhat significant but overstated loss.

By saying it was a HUGE loss you are in my view saying had we kept him we could have achieved something of significance.

I'm saying I don't really think that it would have made a big difference much as I would have loved to have had him, but even if you think it would be that's not a good statement about the overall standing of the program if a guy averaging 11 and 6 getting hurt torpedoes the season.

We are in a better position to overcome probably a less significant loss this year - I hope we do. I have no interest in us losing I'd rather win.

Fake news but you did hate them. You hated them even more when they proved you wrong because you’re not an LSU fan you’re a New Orleans Tulane trash in reality. What’s worse is the more they succeed the more you hate those players.

So you are denying that your belief that we were always well funded with NIL is based on recruiting rankings? Because that is the only argument that I have seen you make.

You’re conflating three things in order to mislead like always.

No, but the entire point you are arguing about being trash for the last 3 seasons due to lack of NIL funding is totally invalid.

There was more than an adequate amount of talent on McMahons teams to be better than 14-40 over the last 3 seasons in conference play.

This excuse was manufactured last spring as a PR stunt just the way ALT laid out. So it wasn’t an issue before, they pretended like they’d just discovered NIL . The entire thing was performative but the mcmen will cling to any story to deflect from McMahon’s record so it’s been adopted as part of their religious doctrine.

I am not conflating anything. I am very specifically asking you what supports your beliefs on NIL. You claimed that everyone is lying. That's not proof. That is insanity.

The NCAA report that was released and posted during spring. It had NIL spending for the 24-25 seasons and had the revenue sharing projections moving forward. It was a multi page report that was posted in multiple threads. You also assuredly saw it. But that’s irrelevant to having multiple Top 15 composite classes and producing 5 combined wins in two seasons then having you lot blame talent which was the actual point.

I didn’t say everyone was lying and you can’t provide any evidence to support your NIL narrative so like always you accuse others of what you’re doing.
