UCI
Kansas State
Mississippi State
Uconn
West Virginia
Oregon
Evansville
In addition, LSU had an equal or better record in the tournament than:
Duke
Arizona
UC Santa Barbara
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Mississippi State
East Carolina
Arkansas
They also had a better RPI than most of those teams ^
You're telling me all 14 of those teams deserved to be ranked higher than LSU because LSU went 13-17 in what is by far the hardest conference in America? That's dumb.

It's insultingly lazy. Just because you make the CWS does not mean you're one of the top 8 teams in the country. Yet they're often ranked that way.

I would hope he has at least 100 things he could use as infinitely better motivation than a meaningless post-season poll. Our season was our season. We didn't play well enough in the regular season to host a regional, but made it to the final game of the overall #4 national seed's regional and lost a heartbreaker to them and didn't advance to a Super. That was our season. Our record was our record. Whether we finished in Baseball America's arbitrary (after the top 2) final poll as #3 overall or unranked matters zero. Our season was our season. And we have our own goals, standards, and expectations. Who gives a shite about Baseball America's?
