Thanks, OBJ. Instead of the nation entirely focused on the debate of GREATEST season in college football HISTORY, they get distracted with low hanging bullshite fruit. You diminished the positive effect of this post-championship week because you couldn't stand not being in the fricking spotlight.

I have always love Juice over OBJ, and shite like this is why.

OBJ is a very talented football player that has yet to come to grips with the money and fame he has earned. Saying that I'll also further state that the fame, money, and talent DO NOT make him one bit smarter or more intelligent.

This is not the first occasion he has failed as an adult, let's just hope it's the last.

Ban him at least for besmirching the brand!!!!

Anyone following OBJ should express feelings about his behavior and representation of LSU. Maybe he’ll get it.

Can we stop with adding "gate" to the end of every controversy? Watergate was the name of the hotel. Adding the word gate to things doesn't change the meaning of the word.

I dont see this being a big deal violation wise.. LSU will make sure the players return the money and nothing with come of it. Besides Odell Beckham Dumbfrick being banned from LSU facilities for a very long time

This is false. Their ability has enabled them to become millionaires. Also, the NFL, or whatever league they go to, has enabled them to become millionaires. These players make the NCAA rich, not the other way around.

OBJ has turned into a Drama Queen WR! It saddens me to see it, but he needs to be humbled and put in his place. Keep him away from the sidelines.

Simply no excuse and incredibly stupid thing to do

What are the kids supposed to do when drunk OBJ starts slapping 100$ bills in their hands minutes after winning the natty? Say "nah man, I'm not allowed to take this".

We all make mistakes - I’m convinced that in the moment the student athletes were not thinking about how terrible a decision this could be - most of the time when I make a dumb decision I’m not thinking about the repercussions

That being said - you can tell a drunk person “nah man” & that is a completely reasonable reply to what OBJ was doing. Money is a huge temptation tho

And yes / I probably would of taken it. Not because OBJ was drunk & I didn’t want to start trouble but because ........ I really really really like $$$$$$$$$$. Probably too much

Does Joe deserve any criticism for snitching in a live interview? I mean, kinda a dick move if you ask me.

He was still drunk when he did the interview.

I understand it is not a good look but, can someone explain what the violation is here?
It seems to be a drunk dumbass acting like a drunk dumbass.

If indeed there is a violation, can’t Jefferson just say that it was a stunt and he gave the money back?

Joe can get a pass because he was still euphoric from the win, still drunk from the night before, and probably on pain meds for the torn cartilage. Kind of hard to keep it together with all that going on.

And OBJ was drunk when he passed out money. I'm not about to excuse his actions either.

With the exception of pain medication (I think), you described OBJ.
