First of all, I am not an LSU fan, but to their credit with today's new rules they went out and got the best players money could buy. Will LSU go undefeated only time will tell, but at least they put themselves in a position to compete with the Georgia, Texas A&M, Texas. The players on the defense are all probably first round draft choices by the NFL. The teams on their SEC schedule will not lay down they will give LSU their best shot. Only takes one bad game. But to LSU'S credit they have the talent to win a national championship. Not going to wish LSU luck because they don't need luck, they have the talent. No LSU is not looked upon by a lot of people, but so what Alabama, Georgia are not a lot of favorites either. Bottom line LSU has put themselves in a good position barring a lot of injuries to win a NC. LSU has a lot of bad fans, like every SEC school so many people having a bad experience at LSU is not good.

It was more of a long term investment to get the brand back. Behind the surface shopping spree, Lane loaded up the best La talent. That’s the likely trend, but something had to be done because of the previous 4 year shite show

There are 6-8 other schools spending just as much, they just won’t face the scrutiny LSU will.

It's all about money now. I mean shite how much do you think it cost for Livvy Dunne and the other 2 celebs the opportunity to walk with Lane during the victory walk into the stadium.
Patches on the Jerseys, sponsor names on the field, $1k nosebleed seats for the Texas game, etc.
Everything is for sale to the highest bidder at this point.

Of couse it didn't cost LSU anything. I bet those 3 didn't walk beside him for free. They ponied up some nice donations for that privaledge.

Wait. You think LSU charges celebs with existing connections to LSU and the Kiffin family for this? Lol
