You must be in your early 20's and CLM is all you really know. 2-3 losses /year isn't what this fan base wants.

I'm 45. I know what it looks like when we aren't very good.

The people who argue that if Les were to leave would be the sign of the apocalypse are retarded.

You guys are pussies.
Who gives a shite if Saban is at Bama.
Does that automatically qualify them as unbeatable?

Im not disputing they have been a better program the last few years, but gosh they are humans and this is a football game

Spot on. If the refs would have called a decent game when we played the Gumps, we could have easily won that in regulation and be ranked top 12 or so right now. Still, even with all those botched calls and no quarterback, we played the likely national champions into overtime--in our widely-acknowledged rebuilding year.

This is what I have a problem with:

quote:

Replacing CLM will not be nearly as difficult as all you paid informants and real Sunshine Boys think it will be.

This is thrown out there like it's some sort of obvious truism when all of the evidence points to the opposite conclusion.

If it were so easy to replace championship coaches, what's the problem at Tennessee? Florida? Nebraska? Notre Dame? Michigan? Texas? Hell, look what Alabama went through between Stallings and Saban.

Can anyone provide me with any evidence at all that LSU would have no difficulty replacing Miles with a better, more productive coach? Because as it stands, that statement comes off as pure wishful thinking with no substantial rationale.

atm, not aTm. I'm pretty sure he meant "at the moment"

Don't have a sunshine pumper ID card, but this is a legitimate point that I'd love to hear a response to.

korali, "don't give you the saban is a once in a lifetime event bs"

is there a better coach in the game today? No. does this make bama unbeatable? No.

as a competitor, you should always want to strive for, or compare yourself to the best. nothing wrong with that. however too many on here have penis envy of a 5' 6" guy. makes no sense to me.

To those who are using BEBUILDING year as there excuse are wrong, WE had had our CBs,S,LBs,DE's,OL, 2Senior RBs ALL RETURNED. Next year we have to REBUILD the OL, that's part of Football. // LSU will never win a NC with Miles as HEAD COACH. MATT FLYNN WAS JIMBO FISHERS work not MILEs. Miles had only 1 OF HIS RECRUITS that started on the 07 NC TEAM,21 STARTERS WERE SATAN's.

Know what? You're right. QB that has started 1 game and 2 WR's and a RB that were in high school last year should totally tear shite up offensively. The SEC west is probably just like Louisiana 5A high school league anyways amirite?

Delusional....last place in SEC west. Losses to Clemsom, Alabama ....barely beat Towson.....Les is Bo Pelini. He can't win the big ones...no offense.....Solidified I guess means "solid" like his head

You don't know? Because we're LSU. That's what half these dumbasses think.

Measuring our program's success against Alabama's, which is what everyone is doing, is just ignorant. It's like playing on the PGA tour during Jack's or Tiger's prime. Hopefully, Les will be our coach in '15 and all these silly-nannies will be slobbering all over CLM.

Les reminds me of Mike Ditka at New Orleans that any q.b. could play Quarter Back.
