I don't see anyone saying Orgeron needs to be fired right now. The problem is a lot of people are tired of the blame solely being directed at the talent level or referees. Lately, some posters are even pointing the finger at Aranda.

For some reason, Orgeron always deserves benefit of the doubt in the minds of many, despite not having accomplished anything notable in his career yet. And anybody that challenges this way of thinking is instantly branded a "hater", "idiot", "moron", etc. It's asinine.

You're getting there, but I'm worried it will take you too long.

So how can there be a team made up only of sophomores?

And I'll take your dodging the question as strong confirmation that you don't think sophomores would be likely to win titles.

And since you agree that sophomores aren't likely to win titles, we see that is solely based off their LACK OF EXPERIENCE.

And you can therefore cite LACK OF EXPERIENCE for two straight years. Freshman and Sophomore.

How can I dodge a question that is based on fantasy. You can't have a team made up only of sophomores, so it's an irrelevant question.

Well, thanks for being honest. I don't think he's done anything to deserve getting fired yet.

Unfortunately, he's doing exactly what I feared; keeping us stuck on the plateau Les left us on.

except hes going to get a raise for the same performance that got miles fired.

this will confirm to him that no changes need to be made, and the offense will continue to sputter, even with KT and Emery.

It always seems like we're a national contender whenever the Superdome is where the National Championship is being played.

I highly disagree with some of these comments though as it relates to "LSU has never been 'Next Year U'". Every university has some semblance of being a "Next Year" fan base unless you're: Bama, Clemson, and Ohio State. It's a tactic to grieve about the season's end and lessen the disappointment. LSU has seemingly defied expectations this year, so we should be grateful. However, LSU loses a lot of players every year due to the draft. So the rate of changes in the starting lineup will always occur. Development takes time, DEPENDING on the ability of the coaching staff to speed up the development process. A lot of supportive Tiger fans push the narrative to next year. Nonetheless, we're still gonna have new starters on offense and defense.

I get the argument. But the fact of the matter is you are hypocritical saying: "Can't wait until next year!"

I'm not happy about the extension either, but we don't even know the details yet. Like Hanny said on the radio, extensions for recruiting's sake are just the way college football is these days.

There's no way to know if that's true. Orgeron made some big promises that he hasn't lived up to yet. He knows the offense is bad, and his hands are all over it. Extension or not, I don't believe he's sitting in his office right now patting himself on the back for doing such a fantastic job.

extend him but leave the buyout unchanged. if auburn can make Malzahn reduce his damn buyout LSU can at least make O's stay at 6 million if he biffs it next year (sigh).

The fact that you think youre in the majority is laughable. The majority of posters and lsu fans i know dont think O is a good coach.

I wont apologize for not being ok woth seasons that got the last coach fired.
Losing 3 games at lsu is in no way acceptable when that become the ceiling, which is what is happening under O and what happened under miles.

This is glorious.

You are claiming that O is better than miles and yet youre touting seasons for O that got miles fired.

Truly glorious.

Vegas never thought Miles was such a shite coach that we were underdogs that much.

Hey which one of these lsu coaches lost to a mid major for homecoming?

Miles or O?
