A game with a lot of future pros- Laron Landry, Travis Daniels, Marcus Spears, Andrew Whitworth, Dwayne Bowe, Rudy Niswanger, Joseph Addai.

I forgot just how good Alley Broussard was. Looking back he was incredible- a great burst to the line and acceleration for the home run. But what stood out to me which is unusual for a 225-pound power back was his vision and ability to cut back even before he hit the line- that's the type of thing most smaller backs can do. He could see traffic and adjust on a dime to avoid a loss in the backfield and turn it into a big play. Exceptional quickness and quick feet for a big guy.

It's a tragedy he never played after that game. He could have been one of the all-time greats. We saw glimpses of it. Can someone refresh me on why his injury was so bad that he couldn't rehab and never played again? Thanks in advance.

And Saban's last game. His head wasn't in the game. To lose that the way we lost it was as bad as it gets. I was at the game. It was a bad feeling walking out of there.

I was there as well. Awful way to lose and it was clear Saban was moving on so even more deflating after winning the NC the year prior. I'm ok without reliving that one.

Jamarcus played really well and brought us back. The Hail Mary was one or the most painful things I experienced as a fan.

Russell looked like an All-American those last two drives. Got in a groove and just flicked his wrist for 40 yards. Moved in the pocket well, too. Too bad he got drafted by a dysfunctional Raiders team that just increased his own dysfuntion.

Can anybody tell me what happened to Alley Broussard? Why he never played again?

Alley blew out his knee and wasn’t the same after the injury.
