Honestly, I love AB but he's been so streaky. JP has always been a very very solid road player. They have some 6'1 guards so he won't be overmatched physically like in the Bama game

I'm ready for some extended JP minutes but I was hoping it would be due to less TQ minutes. Maybe we'll get extended JG minutes if bad TQ shows again.

We want Florida win that way we can take care of Florida ourselves next week.

South Carolina gets a loss today and Florida gets one next week.

We need to finish second in the conference to get a bid in my opinion. Would be nice if Kentucky can beat Texas A&M today as well. That will provide us the cushion we need to stay in second place

At the very least he gives us good on ball defense, something we need badly. Josh does too but he's been struggling so much offensively lately it's hard to keep him out there extended minutes.

Q can play D when he wants to, but IMHO he seems to want to less and less as the season goes on. Couple that with his offensive struggles the last few games, it's killing us.

This is not meant as a flame in any way but is a LSU a lock for the NIT? I do expect a couple of more wins but I'm very concerned if it will be enough to make it to the NCAA Tournament. I know a lot of fans could give 2 fricks about the NIT but it's a very real possibility this could be their only shot at post season play.

Well no. For one you could win the SECT hypothetically. Secondly, we have 5 games left, therefore by winning all (3 of which are road games and 1 is against a top tier team) we honestly would probably have a 7/8 seed. Now if we lose tonight, then our slim margin of error has gone to zero and we'd nearly have to win out.

TQ just put a pic up of him and CJJ and said "Time to get back to having fun"

Kind of interesting to me. Hopefully that means he hasn't been having fun because we have been losing and he's over that

Not sure how to interpret that. Worried Q's idea of fun is jacking 3's,

Hope it's the good Q today, because I'm afraid we may have resigned to hitching our fate to his competence.

exactly. Who the hell knows what TQ means. But if he hasn't been having fun, and he's playing like shite...the opposite is playing good

State actually played some defense. And made free throws and shots.

They put a ton of pressure on Obasohan, but BAMA couldn't hit any open shots. And they missed a ton of FT's.

They cut off the driving lanes for Obasohan, something we simply refused to do either in zone or man.

yeah, but they got more open shots in rythmn against us because we were so out of position so often on team D.

Yeah, when I saw that I thought we sure could have used that Wednesday.
