Botton line is that the gameplan is great if you win and poor when you don't. The consistently conservative gameplans have been just fine...with two exceptions.

. Not necessarily true. We have had some pretty sucky game plans on O and won the game with good D and special teams. The D continually put the O in favorable short field positions when all they had to do was run downhill for a few carries and throw in a pass or two. We were behind in both the Arky and UGA games because of shitty offense and took over and won because of D and ST.

Bama game 2010. Gimmick plays, good pass calls and we ran the ball effectively.

South Carolina this year.

Game plan wasn't an issue, we just couldn't convert in the red zone.

the aTm gameplan was solid. the execution (particularly Mett's accuracy) was shitty at times, and the playcalling a bit mindboggling. but I liked the deep balls, the corner route to the TE, and Ware at QB (for the most part).

The offense looked pretty good against south carolina. So i would say since about 3 weeks ago.

The A&M gameplan was not bad. Mett missed about 3 throws that could have broken the game open. Had he hit those guys nobody here would be bitching.

Texas A&M. Gameplan was sound, Mett just couldn't execute

but the ultra conservative shite has to go

We have been much less conservative this year. We've thrown more passes. We've attempted more downfield passes.

Just because the execution isn't there, does;t mean we are ultraconservative.

Also, I would expect our poor execution to lead to a more conservative game plan vs Bama, because one mistake can const us the game.

LSU hasn't had a solid offensive game plan since they played A&M in the Cotton Bowl. Havent seen the LSU offense look that fluid in a long long time.

I found the offense to be solidly offensive vs. Florida this year.

J Lee was taken out of the game against Bama.....period. Anyone saying or thinking anything else is basically football dumb.

The great thing about a qb like Lee was they knew his limitations and PLANNED around them which makes it easier to execute a plan.

With JJ, they still tried a little of everything instead of making him do a few things real good, they tried to make him do alot of things just OK or below par.

With Mett, for whatever reason, he just isn't making the plays expected of him. Late throws, inaccurate, holding it too long, bad decisions after a play breaks down, etc I expect this is about 90% coaching since he has shown the ability to do those things before arriving.

Stud just isn't the guy for this position at this level.
