That's nice, but I don't think we need to win 4 in a row.
We need to win 3 to reach the championship series and then win 2 of 3. So theoretically we "only" need to win 3 in a row and 6 out of the next 6.
I would guess that has been done multiple times this season...

2. beat the loser of the winner's bracket game
3. beat the winner of the winner's bracket game
4. ^ beat them again because its a double elimination tourney.

If NC State wins tonight, I can't imagine that they don't throw Rodon on Friday. Wouldn't make any sense to hold on to him.

We have the talent to pull this off. We just put ourselves in the toughest situation possible to do it now is all. Will probably have to get through UNC, then NC State, and then beat UCLA twice. To me, this game against UNC looks to be the toughest match up pitcher wise. I'm sure we would see Plutko again if UCLA beats NC State, but I'd like our chances with Nola going against him probably.

We've been talking all year about being better than UNC and that the ACC is overrated and UNC always falls apart in the post season. Let's keep believing.
