You're typing essays to try to inform a crowd of people that would have no qualms with putting the tiger down for not getting in the cage. They don't care about the animal, but they should at least think the university wants their tiger in Death Valley. They act like LSU could give two craps one way or the other as well. It's moronic.

Keep raising ticket prices, that "crowd" keeps getting smaller and smaller.

Has the stress of being in the cage ever had negative health effects on any other Mikes?

well I understand some people are angry because they don't understand the welfare of an animal like Mike is seriously affected. for those people, i'll make the effort.

the people who love how pretty he is but don't give a shite about him when he stops behaving like their personally trained schnauzer I have a different opinion RE

Dr Baker would be a better person to ask directly. My guess would be yes but I don't know of anyone other than a handler (who knows the animal) or a veterinarian who was responsible for their treatment who should consider themselves a reliable authority for that type of welfare question.

I'm old school (attended LSU in mid '60s) and my preference would be that Mike get in the trailer and be in TS before kickoff.

But I'm not going to lose any sleep if he doesn't make an appearance. Hell, we're 6 & 0 this year without him in TS. I'm fine if he enjoys our victory tomorrow night from his palatial digs.

Is there a logical reason why this thread is anchored?

Anyone have any idea how old that is in tiger years?

Miles has completely lost control of the tiger.

Mike has a palatial abode. Just think how much more stressful it would be in the wild. He really lives the life of Riley, IMHO.

We"re not 6-0 this year.
No one wants them to taser the tiger in the cage. If he is too stressed to be in the cage in front of a crowd that will never change over time. Are we just never going to have a tiger at the game anymore for the next 15 yrs?
Swap him out for another one, audition a few from the zoo to see which one isn't stressed out. Get tiger cubs and let them be co-mascots mike and mikela, so he's not lonely and has a buddy
