Both. There was no rhyme or reason for the WR personnel groupings, they were just throwing stuff at a wall to see what would stick.

Even when we had Canada we still ran the old offense.

I think what most of yall don't understand is that we could wheel out the same offense we have run for the past 5 years and still dominate most teams, JUST based on returning starters.

Brady is a reason to be optimistic, but the real thing to witness is almost an entire offense return with more chemistry, better timing, more time in the weight room, and a better skillset. It is very rare for a player to regress during his college years, and I definitely don't think it will happen to 80% of the offense (That's how much production we return from last year).

It is almost a statistical impossibility that this offense is worse or stays the same.

But Coach O is trying to change the offense which was something that Miles never did.

While I agree, he's wasted years with his canda and then E experiment. So even with changing the offense, none of these players have had continuity.

I just hope there is no infighting with the coaches if shite doesn't work early on. We've already seen issues with that under O. And seen him go into a shell against bama.

This is so wrong in so many way. You’re really blaming ensminger for our offensive struggles over the last decade? The man just became OC last year. Was a damn TE coach before

Who was heavily involved in offensive game planning.

ll give you that. But that still has a lot to do with the scheme. We’ve used our TE as blockers for the most part. We haven’t used them as pass catchers in a long time

This isn't true either. You can go back and watch a lot of the games. They were sent on routes. Just never thrown too. We didn't Max protect every game from 2009-2015.

And Brandon liked to kill his guys by throwing high.

The reason you run the old offense is because the players were recruited to play that style of offense a pro style QB not going to be very good option QB. It all starts with recruiting and what you want. Miles recruited offensive Guards to play tackle to do the ground and pound style offense. CEO seems to want an RPO style offense, well it takes time to recruit those kind of guys on the oline. You think you going to go out and get a 5 Star Right tackle the first or second yr you the head coach if the coach before you hadn’t laid down the ground work nope. You think LSU defense is going after 4-3 style defense lineman or are they going after 3-4 gap You can see the direction CEO wanting to go, but hasn’t faired so well the Canada debacle. O went the safe route and got Got CE to take over because he was able to produce when he took mid season. I think CJB is that cross over coach, CEO just can’t hand the reins over to a guy that hasn’t ever been an OC. You give a coach Three yrs to implement his style with scheme and players after that it’s his kids no the past coach.

These are good points.

The thing is we've already reset the button twice on the type of offense that we run, so the players we're recruiting to play in these offenses are mixed.

People think you can just put any player in any offense and it'll work. It just doesn't work that way. The best offenses find players that fit the scheme they want to run.

Exactly. So when we did try to use them it didn’t happen cause we had terrible quarterbacks
