I simply see LSU having a youtube highlight day on Saturday with Special Teams, Defense and Offense. My biggest fear is we get ahead by 17 or more points going into the 4th quarter and relax.
We cannot relax against Newton until the final seconds are gone.

LSU has a great defense, and that that is what matters. That will be the story of the game. And with our struggles on Offense, we will possibly make Auburns defense look good as well. If anyone learned anything about Arky and Auburn over the weekend is that neither play much defense. We play a shitload of it. So that will hopefully get us over the edge. But LSU has a lot of work to do saturday. It's a big big big game.

Arky scored 40 points and still lost the game.

The key to beating Auburn is stopping their offense and winning the kicking game.

If it comes down to playmakers and outscoring them, we are in trouble.

This should be the point everyone focuses on this week when discussing this game.

I still think our playmakers give us the edge. We have a lot of NFL type man players on both sides of the ball. Auburn has one.
I also think our defensive line is gonna wear down Auburn's offensive line with the 4th quarter being a sack fest.

Heard they have a few injuries so younger guys are stepping up. Hopefully we'll see something like the UNC game where their special teams is full of young guys that Peterson can run right through. He needs to step back into the spotlight quickly.

Do you consider yourself a savant of football or do just sit around thinking yourself of above intellingence compared to rest of the world. Where do you see "alot" more play makers. You an most LSU fans think we are head and shoulders above ever team in talent, but look at the facts rantard. Now it's a given without Cam Newton that they are not 7-0, but he is not there only play maker, and compare the two offenses without your purple and gold glasses and honestly tell me we have alot more play makers. You can compare LSU vs. Vandy, MSU, McNeese, and ULM, and Ole Piss and that would be a true statement, but not the Auburns, Arkies, and Alabamas of the world.

Though still not good enough, LSU is better offensively this season than last. Auburn looks to be slightly worse defensively than last IMO. LSU will score more than their average this week. I also thin that S/T will turn in another big week. That leaves the biggest question of the contest; can Newton get to his averages against the best defense he will face all year? Chief says no. I'll buy into that.

I do bleed purple and gold brother, I'm just saying we are evenly matched with the UFs, Bamas and Auburns of the college football ranks. It will take like the Florida game our best effort to date to win, and it will take Lee getting the majority of the snaps. We can't win this one with just defense and special teams.

The majority of the teams we have played have kept away from passing to guys covered by Peterson. However, when QB's have hurried they have gone his way, and in the case of MSU, have paid for it. Newton seems to be effective when you push him out of the pocket and force him to through. That being said, I have a feeling that he is just throwing for blue, and not really reading the D at that point. Peterson might actually get his shot at building more tangible stats on D this weekend.
Here's to him having a career day vs Auburn!

He'll have to... We have to play more consistently on offense in the running game without JJ.

oh sure.

That's your biggest fear re this game?

Nothing about Cam Newton running wild?

Nothing about JJ STILL unable to hit receivers in stride?

No INTS in the flat by J Lee, having been asked by OC Crowton to pass in the flat from our own 5 yard line?

none of that?
