To prove he's not full of shite for starters. And no one made him come her and post what he "knows."

I'm not really envisioning alleva sitting there trying to sell the assistants to a new hire. I'm thinking it'll be more of a "hey there are some decent recruiters already here. Do you want to keep any of them? No? Okay, bring in your guys"
It's not that crazy.
Not to mention that the coaching profession is a good old boy community. It's likely that the new coach will either know or be familiar with some of assistants already. He will be able to decide pretty easily if any of them will fit in his system.

to be fair, if this dude is in the know or in the very inside, he cant exactly be spouting off very specific stuff that could lead to outing himself.

I believe that if he is one of the "insiders" to the football program, he fricked up the firing of Les Miles last year.
The month of lead up media pressure and public relations lead to the (supposed) F King and Governor to not want to deal with the aftermath.
If we don't have a month of talk about Les being fired, we could have let him go relatively quietly like UGA and Richt

What? Never mind. I don't think you even read the fricking OP.
for real man, what part of the OP is out of line to you?
that they are giving the "new" staff a shot to see what they have?
You realize that is "coach speak", right? WTF are they supposed to tell the guys?
they cant hire anyone right now anyway. There is no harm in saying that. They are supposed to say that

Thats exactly what I think it is. Keep Aranda and O for the new guy and see if he is ok with it. I mean you can make O some random fricking coach if the guy has an D line coach already. Aranda is the kicker though imo

Then dont read it or put any stock in it. The fact that it upsets you means that you believe there is some truth to it.

I hope we aren't actually waiting until the "seasons end" to start to gauge interest.
We should already have a target list. Hell, should have had one since at least October of last year.

Again, who is grading these assistants?
There's about 500,000 of us grading every aspect of LSU football everyday. Let the process play out. If the new guy wants all his people, he will get it. But if the new guy thinks retaining a few of the current staff is a wise move for the transition, he will get that too. LSU is just giving itself and the next HC options, just as it should be doing.

I just dont see some anonymous poster on here adding to the mess enough to alter the outcome. People throw shite at the wall all the time on message boards. I dont think some guy making posts at 3am about a potential coach, which wasnt a surprise at all, is some super insider secret that ended up screwing over the whole thing

Who's taking bets this thread reaches 100 pages before it gets whacked?

I said people "like him".
If he was one of a finite amount of people who knew some info about Les for sure being fired and Jimbo being hired, and came here to tell all he knew, he was a part of the problem.
Biggest problem was the higher ups at the AD allowing him, or anyone else, to know what was going on to begin with.

Expect big changes to the offense. More spread 3 to 4 WR sets. Everyone gets a clean slate. Please support this team.

I feel comfortable saying that there is literally no way that is what is happening. I have to think that the wheels are already in motion. They just can't make any kind of announcement til after the regular season at the earliest.

I guess when you are making a move that will cost 20+ million(I dont know the exact cost), there are going to be a few too many people involved for someone not to squeal

Joe Aleva had a crush on Klif Kingsbury at the Texas Bowl, didn't he?
FML, again

I don't know how he is connected but he knows someone or is close to Ppl in the know somehow. His late post last year we're spot on and ppl that are in the know and wouldn't talk about it unless it was solid info later confirmed what DAL was saying. Hate all u want and act like some Internet badazz all u want with you "showin ppl up" on a fkin thread but however he got his info he was correct and like many others couldn't forsee what happened to stop it. So now that u have posted 100x's about how u are this and he ain't that u can stfu now. No one gives a flying shite what u think.

Let me be clear, I never said that, or thought we could, or would.
