He will be the first one to tell you that if you have 2 or 3 stud sprinters on your roster that are healthy once the NCAA preliminary and national meets take place, that the eventual champion is almost predictable
First, Arkansas and their distance program ( and all the track outdoor NCs it brought) say hello.
Second, Henry won 10 outdoor women's NCs in a row. The women won 70% of the indoor and outdoor titles in the 90s. That is a very long stretch of having the best sprinters and having them healthy and peaking twice a year.
Third, you still have to develop those sprinters. They do not arrive at school ready to go. Their times all improved after arriving at LSU.
I get what you are saying about baseball but Henry's record is so far above what anyone else at LSU ever did it is not funny.

solid list !
can not compare across sports or eras on a truly equal basis.
this list is pretty damn good
OOPS, probably could add Bernie Moore depending on judging criteria

Bernie Moore simply because as SEC Commish he oversaw the hari-kari by Tulane as to its SEC membership.
Roll, Green Wave, right out the bowl....
Cholly Mac (for me) because my pop went to UK with him and that relationship gave us access into the program that we wouldn't have otherwise had.
