Hopefully we are in different brackets. They are the two best teams and SC is slightly above.
SC does not want us in the finals, assuming good health on both sides.
We would beat them.

If LSU was healthy and had more production from their bench players these games wouldn’t have been as close as they were…

I think if we do meet them in the finals, today helps us.

Obviously I want USC to lose before then, but I like our chances if we meet again.

Meh. I don’t think they care. They are way better than anybody else in the country, including us. If we’re being honest, they beat us 19 out of 20 times.

I agree with what Angel said in the post game presser. We aren’t scared of SC and SC isn’t scared of us.

I’ll keep saying it..LSU is lucky they didn’t run into SC last year in the tournament.

Sometimes, a team just has your number.

At the moment, SC is LSU’s nemesis in Women’s college bball.

But why? Ain’t nobody listening to your nonsense. If South Carolina thought they were better than us they should have beaten Iowa.

They pretty much have haven’t they?? Anyone thinking this team and program are on par with SC at the moment aren’t being realistic. CKM has closed the gap but it still exists. On any night if we play out of our minds like last year against IOWA we can win but over the long haul that is not possible at the current time. JKIR

Kim is still building up this program despite the title last year. She has now gotten a starting five that is LEGIT but we have some unfortunate luck and loss to bench players that put this team in a hole this year. No Poa, Poole, Smith, thats a lot of production and frankly probably would have been the difference in these games.

We also missed 7 easy layups. Seems a frequent thing for them

19 out of 20 is a stretch. They’re the best team in the country, but it’s March, it took a buzzer beater for them to beat Tennessee.

We miss Smith inside, Poole at point and her shooting and of course Poa. If we had that added depth we would have won today IMO.
