I would have to say LSU has gone from DBU to WRU after the impact the LSU WR's have made at LSU and the NFL. Not counting the awesome group we have now: We are loaded!!

WRU is alive and well!

Kyren Lacy 6-2, 215, Sr.
CJ Daniels, 6-0, 179, RsSr
Chris Hilton 6-0, 190, RsSo.
Zavion Thomas 5-11, 170, Jr.
Aaron Anderson 5-8, 190, RsSo..
Shelton Sampson Jr. 6-4, 187, So.
Kyle Parker 5-11, 194, RsFr.
Jelani Watkins, 5-10, 160, Fr
Kylan Billiot, 6-3, 186, Fr.
Michael Turner, 6-1, 145, Fr.

LSU past great WR's

Nabers
Thomas
Chase
Jefferson
OBJr
Landry
Lafell
Bowe
Byrd
Reed
Doucet
Clayton
Henderson
Randle
Kennison
Chark

Is CJ Daniels really only 179? He looks bigger than that. Seems thin for the sec

Hopefully they get back on track soon with their NFLSU.

They’ve fallen behind Alabama, Ohio State and Georgia.

They used to be number one and had that spot for years.

If Jets and Chase can stay healthy, their legacies would all but secure LSU as WRU over Ohio State.

LSU from DBU to WRU

Facts.

Not sure if it is a recruiting thing, a switch in young players ideas of what they want to play or what. But I feel like this started when we had OBJ and Jarvis.

Shortly after/at the same time, skill players like Kenny Hillard, Leonard 4, Guice, Chark, etc.

Two guys that everyone loved so much(back to OBJ and Jarvis) and fans deeply followed into the NFL.

Obviously just shooting a hypothesis, but if I were a young athlete that is the best athlete at my postion(WR/DB) and could get the praise that we have been giving our skill players, why would they want to be a Jalen Mills, Derek Stingley, TreDavious White?

All are great in the NFL, but do we get as excited when we hear their name over a Jarvis, OBJ, JJettas, Chase, even Clyde?

I personally love mills and tredavious so always get hyped. But point being that fans arent as excited about those players as the others. Everyone wants to be the main character especially if they have the talent

We’re LSU, not DBU, or any of those stipid monikers. We’re very good at developing NFLers.
