I didn't realize Chase was only 6'0.

He was listed at 6'1". A lot of guys lost an inch or two. I like it. The guys always used to shrink at the draft combine. Hopefully that won't happen now.

Dare will have gone from 6-8 to 6-5 and 3/4 by draft time.

Les, what you think about Gilbert at 250? I haven’t seen a pic of him recently, but coming off a shoulder surgery, I’m afraid that might not be a good 250.

And I totally agree about Logan—wtf is he doing coming into his money year at 330+? If Ferrell isn’t losing weight to play DE like O originally implied, he’s gonna start over Logan at that other DT spot opposite

Finally, there’s no way Brooks can play LB in a 4-3 at that size, and like you said, he just doesn’t seem to have the metabolism to put on good weight in the South Louisiana summer heat. Are they just gonna flip him and Stevens? That seems the obvious play at this point. I’m not as confident in Bo as I was Dave to just move them around all over the field to where their listed positions don’t really matter. Not saying he can’t do it, I just think Dave has more recent history as being creative enough to find a way to get the best guys on the back-end of the field. And I think Stevens and Brooks are almost certainly 2 of the best back 7.

Gilbert had an official weigh in at a camp, I think it was January, where he was 246. And that was right after their season. So he isn’t far off. If he’s a little soft he can probably be good by September
