Agreed. There is absolutely zero NFL future for Bech as a TE. If I was him, and LSU insisted on TE, I would transfer.

He loves LSU and is ALL about the team. If LSU would need him to play db, he would.
Let's be honest, Gilbert was in slot as much as anywhere

Thin at LB(6) with 7 safeties listed on the depth chart. Think we could see a guy like Todd Harris or Cam Lewis play a hybrid safety role similar to 2019 Stevens? Everything I’m reading on Daronte Jones is saying “multiple” and “Aranda’s good word”.

Obviously Stevens had about 20-30lbs on any of the other safeties, but 200lbs ain’t too shabby?

So he will Return if we “block him” From going to another sec school? If that’s true then frick him, don’t want

This is just reading the tea leaves. No one knows exactly what he’s up to yet. I’m just pointing out that the situation is unsettled.

Also, we can’t block him from going anywhere. We just have the possibility to hold up a one-time waiver and cost him a year sitting out.

Nice work!

I’d like to see Evans moved to center. We would still have 6 quality defensive tackles, imo.

I mean, we should be pretty good next year.

As already mentioned, thin at LB. We need 1 or 2 beast from the portal if that's even a possibility. If you add 1 or 2 with Strong and Baskerville, LB becomes a really nice group.

I really wish Gilbert would come back. That would put the TE/WR group over the hump.

We're also going to need alot of improvement in the secondary, especially if Stingley sits and Ricks walks. Flott was atrocious. Ward and McGlothern had moments, but they need to get better. And, outside of flashes from Harris, the safeties were also not very good. The DC hire should help with this.

I think we're now good with OL for 2021, but fr 2022 and beyond, I'd still like Jordan Moko for future years. He looks good to me.

Still would like us to get a transfer LB or two, and maybe another CB, but otherwise I really really like us for 2021 and beyond as well.

Brooks would have been perfect for that hybrid spot had he not transferred

So was Lloyd Cole.

Coles going into year 6 of college football
Small going into year 5

I know they are former walk-on’s but shoot that’s a lot of experience buried deep in the depth chart. Both of those guys are special teams leaders
