The only thing I remember is that was by far the most miserably hot game I have ever been to in TS…even hotter than App State 9am kickoff
Wasn’t there but was at App St game and if it was hotter than game then I’m glad I missed that one

That 2005 loss to UGA sucked.
Having to play so many games without a bye week really screwed us. We were exhausted in that game.

As did that Monday night game versus Tennessee in 2005. That was the first Miles choke job. Took a 21-0 lead into the locker room at the half, just to lose in OT.
It was definitely a sign of things to come as Les Miles proved to be the stupidest successful coach in the history of college football.
Literally stupid.

I was at this game, but have no recollection of this happening.
Come to think of it, I don't remember anything from this game except for Tennessee winning it on the last play of overtime.
You remember how HOT it was? Seriously the hottest game, even after dark I’ve ever been too. Miserable.

That Monday night game was brutal. By the 4th Q the team was absolutely gassed, nothing in the tank. Their training regimen was disturbed, some were sleeping on floors, constant helicopters flying overhead, I don't see how they lasted as long as they did.
By the SEC champ game their legs were gone.

LSU Tigers can definitely beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa

Les might have won another title if that storm didn’t wreck the Tigers practices.

USC and Texas were #1 and #2 nothing was going to change that

Yea, from the Tennessee game the Monday after Rita to that Georgia debacle, LSU played 11 games...in less than 10 weeks! A brutal schedule

Yeah -- the refs screwed us too!

So really good team or not good enough to get there.

Miles never could read the clock, from his first game until his last. I think they eventually had designated assistants who would try to monitor the game clock; Peveto may have been one of them as I recall.
I was at the 05 Tennessee and SECCG games. That was a crazy season, which was soon topped by 2007.
