This is the good side of NIL.
I agree. This is a way for players to directly profit off of fans who support them. As a fan, I like knowing the player will get a few bucks if I buy one of theirs.

Maybe College and Pro are the names of cities.

This is kind of being promoted as a big deal that will give every player some NIL money. Unless there is some sort of cut from each jersey sale that goes into a “general distribution” account that pays every player something, how much money do you think the backup long snapper or non scholarship walk on 5th string OL will make off of this groundbreaking NIL deal?

Proud of LSU to be the first in the nation on this
It shows that Woodward is doing work and getting deals done

Doesn't matter being first. 50 percent of teams will be signed by end of month and all will be signed by next season

This isn’t professional sports but maybe now it is. Other than mom and dad and and family members why in the hell would someone want to buy a jersey with an 18 year old college kids name on it?
These "kids" go on to play in the NFL and these items will be collectibles. Not for everyone, but all it will take is one to go big like a Joe Burrow. Also, fans will proudly wear their favorite NFL player's College collectible jerseys to the games.

So the backup long snapper should get money from other players' sales because you kinda sorta understand it to be promoted as an equal share thing? And otherwise it's a shame that the backup long snapper isn't getting money?
