Updated per request:

• I have added 247sports Transfer Ratings.
• Incoming transfers will be listed above incoming freshmen, and both will be listed below returning players.
• I have attempted to make as few predictions as possible, basing the original lineup on official Depth Charts from last season. Other information has been gleaned from listening to interviews with incoming players.

Biggest transfer need now is probably center right?

TE that can block and catch over the middle and a center.

Wouldn't mind another LB either.

My rank of needs would be:
1. TE
2. C
3. Cover CB
4. Edge/LB/or best available

I think you could make an argument that a cover CB is the most important if we plan to run much man to man. We don’t have anyone that can lock down a #1 receiver.

Our front four is nasty...on paper. They haven't proven anything yet. With that said, I'm excited to see what they can do under a real coach.

Lot of talent left defensively but they're gonna have to grow up and turn potential into production really quick. Offensively, the OL, as always, is a big concern. The skill positions aren't what we are used to around here. Part depth issues(wr/te) and part lack of development. Dont trust Myles to play every game, dont trust Nuss at all.I focus as much time as possible preparing Walker Howard. If he's the guy it'll come out this year. Staff needs to earn their pay this off-season/fall camp.

Don't know why I didn't think of TE. I agree with your list

I didnt know Jared Small is returning, I thought he was out of eligible years. Is that a mistake? If not, Small will be huge for us

Will Antoine Sampah and Josh White ever see the field in the purple and gold?

I think Bernard-Converse is a better shut down corner than you think. I also have read that we’ll play a lot more cover 3 zone, so the need for those true shut down corners isn’t as great.

I agree with this. I have a feeling we will
End up being a zone blitzing team but having 1-2 lockdown corners gives your defense a lot of versatility.

Why didn't LSU go after the big Grad Transfer Center from Wisconsin that signed with Florida State? (Any of Wisconsin's scout team OL's could probably come in and start)

Watch, Dellinger or Martinez will have to be moved over there because Kelly/Quinn wont be satisfied with what they see on the field early in the Spring. (In any case, they should both start the Spring being cross trained at Center)

Will you for Christ's sake forget about the fuqqin center from Wisconsin! Either the Coaches didn't want him or he didn't want to come to LSU!

That's like saying an 8 year old could come in and post better than you. Wait...okay, that's prolly not a good example...

These 2 - particularly Sampah - are in the same situation as Dumervil.
Been here long enough that this should be their time to establish themselves in a consistent role - whatever that might be.
Sampah has had even less PT than White but they've got an experienced LB Coach calling the shots for the whole defense so if there is some "it" there with either of these guys I would expect to see them on the field more than on ST's
