Because the Rantards deserve it. The have been obsessively posting that coach O is a dumb used car sales man, that doesn’t know sh_t and that we were absolutely horrible because of him. When I say obsessive, I mean there are posters with THOUSANDS of post saying exactly this and worse multiple times a day on this site that recruits and the family of recruits read. Not a good look. They can say, oh my bad. But what’s that worth when they were always here to belittle and insult any tiger fan who was trying to bring some balance to this board.

Depends on how you want to define "AP-ranked opponents". Rankings are most often counted at the time the game was played, not where the teams where ranked at the end of the season.
In this case, MSU was not ranked when LSU lost last year, so tRee is correct that CEO has only lost to 2 ranked teams away from home - Bama and ND.
