I don't necessarily agree that we're heading the wrong way, but BK made some mistakes on that first staff and is having to rectify now, in an age where money talks more than a lot of other things. I actually think if he can hold together this class and bring in a few portal players 2 years from now might look pretty good in terms of talent and depth.

We will lose 4 OL - returning the weakest link. None of the backups that have had to play have looked like anything but a liability. Could they improve, sure, but the fact that no one has stepped up above them is an indictment on the depth and talent at the position. Need 2 OL from portal at least.

TE - need at least one who can actually block and catch.

WR - Need a number 1 WR desperately.

DE - need at least 1.

Would be nice to get a DT as well, but we should have more talent next year and it was serviceable this year.

LB - Would be nice to get an experienced player to man the middle.

Safety - need a complete overhaul on the starters, some of which will happen regardless. Why more back-ups have not gotten reps is a concern. Need at least 1 here. Maybe the Star too.

CB - need a starter to come in. We will lose our most talented CB and while there are some talented freshmen coming in, we need someone better.

Punter - I'm not sure what we have on the team right now could even be referred to as punters so much as guys who try to kick the ball.
