Is being played by the organist at Wrigley Field while a challenge is reviewed. Pretty cool

Was just coming to post this... that was interesting

Tiger rag?, that’s the fight song or was it pregame touchdown? Didn’t hear it, just wondering...

Hit rewind to go back and listen. Definitely played Hey Fighting Tigers.

Hey, look me over
Lend me an ear
Fresh out of clover
Mortgage up to here
But don't pass the plate, folks
Don't pass the cup
I figure whenever you're down and out
The only way is up
And I'll be up like a rose bud
High on the vine
Don't thumb your nose
But take a tip from mine
I'm a little bit short of the elbow room
But let me get me some
And look out world
Here I come
Yes, hey, look me over
Lend me an ear
Fresh out of clover
Mortgage up to here
But don't pass the plate, folks
Don't pass the cup
I figure whenever you're down and out
The only way is up
And I'll be up like a rose bud
High on the vine
Don't thumb your nose
But take a tip from mine
I'm a little bit short of the elbow room
But let me get me some
And look out, world
Here I come

Which was based on a popular show tune "Hey Look Me Over" She was probably playing that. Still cool though.

I just want to know why we don’t play it before the 4th Quarter like we did for the previous 40 years!

From a 1960 Broadway musical, Wildcat, starring Lucille Ball.
I was an undergraduate when Hey Fighting Tigers was first played - most of us thought it was kind of gay.

“Hey fightin Tigers” isn’t the fight song, nor is “Tiger Rag.”
It’s “Fight for LSU.” The one you hear after the team makes a field goal or extra point.

You shut your whore mouth about the ever-popular Hey Fightin' Tigers.

Jim Corbett, who was the athletic director at the time, heard the song while watching a Broadway show in New York. LSU bought the rights to the song and changed the words.
