Clarence “Night Train” LeBlanc....he was a hellfire missile before there were Hellfire missiles.

Duh... Gordy Rush. Special Teams assassin, but his hardest hit was getting Ponamsky legitimized.

Fans who didn't list Rehage are too young to have seen him play.
And he was all of 175lbs. QB at Curtis that was asked to leave, then went to Bonnabel. JT got Coach Stovall to recruit him.
Absolutely fearless.

Richard Picou
Long ago Coach Mac told me himself that he was the hardest hitter that he coached. That's a bold statement.

Michael Clayton almost killed a guy in high school that played rb for northeast. He hit him playing FS and it was like the dude's helmet just exploded into 10 pieces. He seriously knocked all the stuffing/padding out of the guys helmet. The guy went into siezures after being knocked out for about 3 minutes and left in an ambulance. Was the hardest hit I've ever seen in my life. I'm glad i was on his team and didn't have to play against him. That was back in the day when we were taught to do whatever we had to do in order to dislodge the ball and it was completely legal. Football was football back then.

Another Tiger who was a student in the 80s who recalls and picks Steve Rehage.

Laron Landry pre targeting rule and defenseless player pussyfied shite was an absolute beast and solely controlled the middle of the field through the threat of shock and awe. He would decapitate any fool stupid enough to try and run a slant or crossing route across the middle. He was a wrecking ball and the grim reaper who enjoyed the pain he imparted on those brave enough to attempt to challenge his domain. He was a demon in the middle and the meanest son of a bitch on the team that routinely had receivers depart the game on a stretcher. He was my favorite player ever until the honey badger came along. A great Tiger.

Joseph Addai belongs on the list.

Hell, let’s go WAY back...to a188-lb. linebacker that played for Cholly Mac, named,
Richard Picou. He was Rehage before Rehage.

Mark Roman knocked the frick out of some people. Old timers say George Bevin was a killer too
Posted on 1/23/20 at 2:10 pm to FowlGuy
Neither was Chad Jones. He wrecked everyone including himself.
Posted on 1/23/20 at 2:11 pm to Tigers0891
Loston was completely reckless though. Destroyed his own players as well. Even in practice.

Yep. MLB's in the 80's didn't get the opportunities to lay wood like a FS but God help the ball carrier who met this guy in space. He could bring it.
Posted on 1/23/20 at 3:50 pm to PhillyFan1994
For a cornerback Kevin Toliver was not scared to lay the wood
