Hate to burst your bubble, but AP Top 25 is released every Monday... Saturday will be #13 vs #5 no matter if UF beats us by 200 or we win by 200 ?

Florida is one of if not the best defensive team in the conference. LSU needs to either get Naz going inside early or have Mays or Smart knock down a few outside shots early. We know Tremont is going to get his. Florida doesn't have enough offensive fire power to play from behind. IF LSU can get a lead then Florida can't play slow it down grind it out.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Florida comes out on fire from 3 in the PMAC. We will just need to weather the storm and keep it close with 5 min to go, and we will be in our comfort zone to pull out the win.

A junior high girls basketball team would come out on fire from 3 in the PMAC against us. It’s just what happens.

You’re spot on we have to try and speed them up. They’re gonna try to run the clock under 10 on every possession and run a press that’s geared more towards slowing the pace than creating turnovers. They’re very good at dictating pace. 2 things I’d like to see us do to counter that are 1. Press them right back and throw their offenses timing off. If we shrink the clock their half court offense will have to speed up and that can disrupt their rthym. 2. Play Smart a little more and instead of exclusively looking to get the ball to Waters off of defensive rebounds, kick it to the first guard you see let them push it and keep the ball ahead of their defense, not allowing them to set up their half court.

You single handedly moved the line to 7.5.

I hope you’re right. But I doubt this game will be any different than any other we’ve had lately. The game will likely be in doubt until the very end. And hopefully we are on top.
