i've agreed with this statement in the past, and i personnaly had never left a game early, winning or losing........until last night. I had to leave at halftime, started to feel sick, head cld and sneezing and only had my 10 y/o son with me and didnt wasnt to make that hour and a half drive close to midnight fighting the oncoming cold.

And honestly, i feel guilty that i left.

99% of the time I stay till the players retire to the locker room. The other 1% depends on whatever reason I damn well choose to use. If I gotta go, I go. But its very rare.

Having said that, kids, illness and family emergency will always be a priority above any game.

This will always be funny.

I left at the half to get drunk. I guess you are a better fan than me.

Piss off, you whiny bitch.

1) It was Northwestern State.
2) Backups were in at the half.
3) Bitch at the AD for scheduling shite games like this. It screws season ticket holders when half the home games are phone-in wins.
4) You don't know mine, or anyone else's, day, schedule, hassle, etc.
5) You couldn't have gotten my ticket anyway. You could have upgraded, but you couldn't have bought it.

You obviously fail to understand Tiger "fans". The game is just an excue to tailgate, dress up bratty kids, get stupid drunk and trash the LSU campus. Staying the entire game is just not the done thing because the game doesn't matter, being to brag to other that you were at the game is the key. And getting shitefaced.

Then why bother with the game? If your sole purpose is to get drunk, why not stay home?

I bring my 5 year old (as do a ton of parents)to the cupcake games. Sorry, not staying the whole game. I agree with you on ANY SEC game and other big home games.

Oh please, Penn State fans were leaving early against Alabama yesterday, quit acting like LSU fans are the only ones that do this. And I guarantee everyone stays for Florida, Auburn, etc.

Stupid and tired complaint.

Only REAL LSU fans can look 4yr old kids in the face and tell them to shut the hell up and enjoy the crispness and intensity of a 49-3 rout. Only the DIE HARDS allow $15/hr babysitters to ride the clock while it became apparent an hour ago that Skip Bertman could put up significant rushing stats in the game. These "fake fans" should take the thousands of dollars they give the University every year and rat hole it in their arse. They should also give their tickets away to some basement dwelling idiot and his fat girlfriend who sneaks in Cheetos, mello yello, and won't leave the game because of all of the free plastic cups they'll miss out on.

Seriously, get over yourself!

Growing up in Tennessee, it would make my entire year just to get to go down to an LSU game. I even gave up senior homecoming to go watch us play a meh team in Fresno State. Now I go to almost every game because I'm a student, but I still appreciate the fact I get to be in that stadium and I stay every second I can. We only play 6-8 home games a year. I just cant understand why people dont appreciate it and want to stay longer. Everyone on this board is starving for football all summer long and then it finally comes and they only stay for a half? ...makes zero sense. Everyone in that stadium should be grateful they even get to go because theres hundreds of thousands of LSU fans all over the nation that aren't that lucky.
