Nuss is apparently frozen in time and all he will ever be is a guy who throws interceptions, even though he went on to light up Georgia and dominate Purdue.

He threw picks in those games TOO!

From what I have seen most think the opposite. JD has 12 more games here. Nuss has potentially 40+ more…

It is one thing to want the back up in....it is another to compare a sporadic back up with the greatest college QB ever to play the game.

a simple forum search will find you tons of threads on this forum with people feverishly posting that JD could have his "Burrow improvement" over this off season.

The old threads dont disappear.

JD threw a costly pick on Sunday…. Guess what, IDGAF bout picks cause they happen.

Low picks is not a good thing.

As a prior poster pointed out, JD just being a little bit better at middle field and a deep shot or two was all we needed. Denbrock is trying to make him Dan Marino or Peyton. He is not that guy. We simply must allow him to make plays with his legs and if we are asking him to find check downs, we must put the TE and RB into the plays, not sitting back congeting the pocket and blocking escape routes for JD to use what he does best.

Denbrock needs to be better. We are talented enough on offense everywhere to succeed. I am not sure House can out scheme anyone with those corners.

This applies to quarterback and to HC too, but it's amazing how for the last 5-6 offensive coordinators despite them all having different styles and systems, fans have blamed them all for the same stuff.

It's really hard for me to say Denbrock is the problem when our last 4 OCs inexplicably had the same issues. At some point you have to ask yourself if something else that hasnt changed might be contributing.

I still can’t believe that people watched that game Sunday and thought Daniels is even one of the top 5 problems that went wrong.

The existence of other problems doesnt make this problem go away.

I am once again questioning why people are going so hard to make excuses for JD specifically.

jd has glaring progression issues. Nuss doesn't need much work. But has a stubborn gunslinger risk taking mentality

The receivers want a guy that’s going to throw the ball to them, so they can make plays.

Then they should probably make the plays when the guy throws the ball to them.

The number one priority of a receiver is to catch the ball when it is in your hands. How many of you would get away with blaming another person if you failed to do the number one priority of your job?

Every time I mention Nuss, I am corrected and told he will always be the guy he was in the Southern game and will /never/ change.

Seems like BS. Link the posts

I never understand this, because Nuss has improved from the first time he threw the ball at LSU. Everytime I see him in a game he gets better

After the Georgia game almost all the major football powers were offering. A blind fan could see Nuss's ability. The Sports announcers were raving about his arm strength and delivery.
BK was aware of this so he started admitting he had two starters.
Well? When?

He has never said this. He has always said Daniels is the starter.

You going to dead arse pretend posting about Nuss doesnt immediately get you "Lol he's an interception machine" responses?

I'm going to go ahead and assume you'll say those people should be ignored and I guess that's fair.

I just cant handle Nuss letting it rip and throwing a 50 yard INT on 3rd and long. Would much rather a guy who has absolutely no shot to lead a comeback down by more than 1 score because he refuses to throw the ball deep and when he does it’s laughably late and underthrown. But hey, at least you don’t have to worry about him throwing an INT 50 yards down the field

I've been saying let the hot-hand play and getting DV'd massively all Summer.

I just fail to see JD evolving much at all.

Give Nuss a chance
