I call BS on that picture. I sit in the East Upper and stayed to the end of the game. The shade never made to us during the game. Especially having that much of the East Upper covered in shade. That is not what it looked like with 7 minutes to go.

#1 You have the right to leave whenever the hell you want to it's a free country

#2 I have the right to call you out for leaving half way through the third quarter when the game is not over.

We convert that 4th down and score in the fourth quarter and it's a one possession game with 6 minutes to go and all those people who left the stadium would have been running back into the stadium. I would have loved to have seen that just to laugh in everybodies face.

I was in the student section on Saturday (seventh streight year havn't missed a single game) and can tell you for a fact that the new younger crop is more spoiled and gives up alot quicker. I mmeber the bama game in 02 when we got destroyed what 31-0 and it was not nearly that bad that early in the third quarter with people leaving. Heck that was a cold miserable night and way more people stayed till the end. I also member the 03 florida game and how pathetic that game was and yet somehow the student section didn't seem to have the problem with a mass exodus. It's funny how a few championships later and everyone gets so damn spoiled and complacent in such a short amount of time.

FWIW, I wasn't trying to be but our fans can be flat out ridiculous sometimes.

Football is entertainment. and if you don't like the way a movie is going, you don't stick around to see it end either.

First off, my opinion is in the middle here. Im 31 and have been going to every home game since I was 7. Im in my seat an hour before the game starts and I do not leave until there is 0:00 on the scoreboard no matter what the circumstances are.

With that being said, everybody has there own right to leave when they want. I think one of the main problems now days is the LSU games have become more of a social event. People go just to say they were there and they only stay if it is a close game.

I wait all year long for LSU football and watch all the countdowns leading up to the season so I take every advantage I have to sit in that stadium as long as i can for 7 or 8 days out of the year. Does that make me better than people that leave? No it doesnt. It is just the way i do it.

Lastly, i will just say that i dont know if it is just me that notices this but, it seems the people that seem to leave early a lot are the same people that complain about ticket prices. I could be wrong, but that is my assumption.

I wasn't happy w/ Curly. Unlike you, I can appreciate the difference between that era and what we have now, which is the best decade in the history of LSU football.
