I won’t have time to hang out. But if you’re looking for a good spot to eat. Weidmann’s and Mimmo’s both downtown.

And don’t forget to load up at Freddie’s Fine Spirits, which is right off of I59, and has a hell of a selection.

My family and I will be getting into Meridian around 7-ish tonight.

What time are you guys planning on leaving out Saturday? Originally I was going to leave around 10 or so and park and walk around for a little while before going in. We have a reserved parking spot close to the stadium. We aren't doing any tailgating, just taking the kids around the stadium and take pics etc.

Now I am thinking about leaving around 8 just to get on campus, hang around the stadium and see how the security lines are backing up before going in.

Meridian sucks for a place it’s size. Mimmo’s is good. Also Rustler for a good steak. Rib Shack for good bbq. If you have down time and like to walk/run or just relax go out to Bonita Lakes near the mall. Beautiful track around the lakes. Best spot on the whole town.

Weidmanns or Rustler is good. Check out the MAX museum if you get a chance.

Brickhaus is a cool bar downtown with a huge beer selection. Harvest Grill is another downtown restaurant that's good for dinner

Went there a while back when my grandmother was still alive. Have a lot of family there and it is not a dump and is quite nice.

Wonder if Meridian has more Alabama fans that live there than Ole Miss and MSU fans combined?

There are 100 better places to eat here.

Cook Out is better on South Frontage Rd.

Seafood Express has good PoBoys. It's in a gas station. But they are fine. And yes, I've had good LA poboys. Not as good but not a big drop.
