He didn't hate LSU. He hated going to college anywhere... that being said he didn't really try at LSU. So I dont care about him... he never says anything good about LSU... on the flip side Shaq is one of the best ambassadors of LSU... example of how you should be... or maybe he should have just went to Kentucky...

NO reason? It's the NBA's rule - there's your reason.

Do you also object to the NFL's rule that a player be 3 years removed from high school?

These leagues make their own rules.

And Simmons wasn't "forced" to spend a year here. He could've played internationally for a year, or even sat out a year. Yes, the NBA's rule forced him to make that decision, but he wasn't forced to come here.

This irrelevant a non issue imo and people need to move on. Simmons doesn't care about his experience at LSU and LSU fans should feel the same, everyone needs to move on. My personal opinion is that his talent was wasted at LSU by a coach who could not coach, he really had no system in place for Simmons and pretty much let the team do what they wanted to do (dysfunctionally) with players players like Quarterman for example handling the ball and such. Everything should have been run through Ben Simmons, Simmons should have handled the ball exclusively and no one else. He's the PF that everything revolves around, LSU would have been a much more competitive team had Jones did that, that's what a smart coach would have done.

Proof or GTFO.

He had more rebounds than Shaq in his Freshman year?

So you're telling me, let me get this straight, you're telling me only three Freshman in SEC History had more points than he?

You're telling me he had more free throw attempts than any freshman in SEC History.

Holy not likely, Batman.

I don't consider him a former LSU player.
